I would like to provide a link to the Hon. Rob Nicholson’s paper petition regarding Bill C-75 and the troubling Liberal proposal to make traditionally indictable offences eligible for summary conviction.
Through C-75, many heinous crimes that were punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment may be reduced to a mere fine. The list includes participation in the activity of a terrorist group, prison breach, impaired driving causing bodily harm, abduction of a child under the age of fourteen, forced marriage, advocating genocide, arson for a fraudulent purpose and material benefit from human trafficking – just to name a few.
The safety and security of Canadians is at great risk with this legislation. Please photocopy the petition as many times as you please and collect as many signatures as you can from consenting Canadians who wish to voice their concerns about C-75.
Once you have collected your signatures, mail all original copies of the signed petition back to MP Nicholson’s office by Friday, September 7, 2018, postage free:

Thank you for your attention to these serious concerns in Bill C-75.
