The Parliamentary Forum on Canadian Freedoms, hosted by David Anderson, MP, will focus the historic development of basic freedoms in Canada; a survey of current challenges to basic freedoms, and international standards for basic freedoms; and an analysis of the challenge of maintaining these freedoms into the future. The evening will feature an expert panel including Dr. John Robson (Documentary Filmmaker, Columnist, Commentator-at-large and Invited Professor at the University of Ottawa), Mr. Jay Cameron (Litigation Manager, Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms), Dr. Janet Epp Buckingham (Director, Laurentian Leadership Centre, Trinity Western University), as well as Q&A and discussion time.
