Nominations are now open for the Celebrate Canada 150 Medal!
David Anderson, Member of Parliament for Cypress Hills-Grasslands is proud to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday by honouring citizens with the Celebrate Canada 150 Medal.
Nominations will be accepted until September 15, 2017 in the following categories:
These are the pioneers and their children who created the foundations that communities need to survive – businesses and farms, service clubs and churches, fire halls and dance halls.
These are the people who have protected and continue to protect the communities we have built by risking their lives to defend and protect our sovereignty.
Do you know someone under 20 who has a vision of their community in the future? Whose passion and commitment has led them to work with others to make that vision come true?
These are the people who give tirelessly through their service clubs, businesses, sports organizations, and cultural groups.
Newcomers Building Canada
Do you know someone who has found a new home in Canada, has chosen to become a Canadian citizen, and has found a role for themselves in their new community and in building Canada’s future?
Nominations should include:
· Name, mailing address, telephone number and email address of the nominee and nominator
· Nomination category
· In 150 words or less, outline why you feel this person should receive the Celebrate Canada 150 Medal.
