More recently, she gained an MA in Islamic studies. Her PhD research at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London has focused on the political implications of Islamic law in the West; questions of power and authority, the limits of multiculturalism, and the notion of group rights, through an extensive ethnographic study of the Shari’a councils in Britain. Dr. Walker is also a speaker for Ravi Zacharias International Ministries in Europe.
Dr. Andy Bannister is the Canadian Director of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. Before coming to Canada, Andy was based in Europe, where he completed his PhD in Islamic Studies at London School of Theology (Brunel University) in 2011.
