Speeding through Kyle is a big concern. Highway 4 is a busy road that runs through a school zone. Constable Denis Hannigan from the Kyle Detachment of the RCMP took the initiative and partnered with: the Town of Kyle, Kyle School, the Kyle Times, the Pioneer Coop and SGI to develop a community project aimed at slowing down drivers. Students painted two large billboard signs reminding motorists who pass through the town to slow down.
